About host
Hailing from Seattle, Hernan and Angela fell in love with the natural beauty and easy pace of Leavenworth many years ago. In 2017 they bought the five-star-rated Snowgrass Lodge to fulfill their dream of creating a mountain nature sanctuary for people to enjoy and connect, surrounded by nature yet within reach of Leavenworth’s many attractions. As caretakers and wellness facilitators, they are committed to continuing the lodge’s tradition of quality service as a nightly rental and a relaxing nature retreat for small groups. From yoga and meditation retreats to other wellness gatherings, the property is perfectly set up for groups to gather, relax, reconnect and celebrate community.

Snowgrass Lodge on the River is located in 2 miles outside of Leavenworth, WA, a charming and majestic mountain town on the eastern slope of the Cascade Mountains, a 2-hour drive from Seattle.
How to get there
From Seattle, take I-90 East to 97 N ( or Hwy 2 East) to Leavenworth, WA. From there take Icicle Rd South about 1 mile. We're the last driveway on the left before crossing the bridge on Icicle Rd.

About accommodation
Designed with wellness groups and team events in mind, our expansive 7,000-square-foot timber lodge features three levels of rustic elegance. The heart of the lodge is a grand living room, highlighted by a soaring cathedral ceiling and a cozy river rock fireplace, adjacent to a chef-inspired kitchen.
The lodge is designed to accommodate up to 16 guests in the main building, offering an array of sleeping arrangements across 4 generously-sized bedrooms. The upstairs master suite provides a luxurious king bed and a private deck with sweeping views of the Cascade Mountains. The main floor houses two additional bedrooms, each fitted with a king bed. The lower level offers secluded comfort in a private room with a queen bed. Additional sleeping spaces include two loft areas, one with a king futon and the other with a queen, as well as a communal sleeping zone featuring 8 single/twin beds.
For larger groups, the 5-acre property also offers the "Heart Shed," a charming studio with a queen bed, and Raina's Tree House, featuring two twin beds. These can be rented separately, raising the total accommodation capacity to 20 guests.
