Monday:

  • We start our day with an energizing sunrise yoga and meet up after for our nutritious and local breakfast in our villa. 
  • You will have plenty of time after, to relax, unwind and purely enjoy the beautiful island. In the afternoon we will meet up for a restorative Yoga session during sunset. Dinner will wait for us after Yoga at the Villa.

Tia

Instructor

Nateea (Tia) is your retreat host and yoga teacher. She is a warm hearted soul lighting up the room with her smile, following her dream to share this light with people all over the world. Born in California, USA with caribbean and german roots she early learned how to appreciate her uniqueness.She leaves space for you to unfold your true self, helping to embrace what makes you unique. Nateea is happy, ambitious and peace loving and fell in love with the versatility of the world. Her mission is to spread her affection for yoga in the most beautiful places the world has to offer.

Experiences

Yoga

Currently, she works as a private yoga and meditation teacher for a renowned NBA player, allowing her to pursue her special interest in creating Hatha classes for athletes. She also shares her knowledge at various locations, including apartment housings. In the past, she collaborated with a 5-star guesthouse in Germany and had the opportunity to teach intimate and exclusive groups. Furthermore, she taught regular yoga classes for up to 15 people at the beach, lake, and in private one-on-one sessions at her self-owned yoga studio, Nateea Yoga. With her exposure to diverse body types and levels of proficiency, she possesses the ability to adjust poses and cater to individual requirements and capacities.
She offers a unique yoga experience and moving meditations, creating a joyous, inspiring, and motivating atmosphere that respects all body types and provides each person with a secure and impartial environment to explore and discover their authentic selves. Her classes are physically and mentally demanding and are taught in English and Sanskrit (or German). To her, yoga is an inspirational lifestyle, and she encourages her students to observe their thoughts, put their ego aside, and allow their bodies to progress.

The Island Dhiffushi 🏝️

Dhiffushi is home to a mesmerizing underwater world and its own house reef which is more than 10 km long housing colorful corals, breathtaking varieties of fishes, and other marine flora and fauna. 
Snorkeling in this paradise is absolutely amazing! You may even spot Turtles, Stingrays, and little sharks! 
This beautiful local island in the North Malé Atoll has a magical vibe and offers a lot of activities besides relaxing at the white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue waters. Diffushi is 0.95 km in length and 0,2 km wide. It was one of the first non-resort islands in the Maldives proving that you don’t need to pay for an expensive all-inclusive resort to have the amazing Maldives experience.
As it is the most eastern inhabited island of the Maldives, you are able to witness the sunrise first in the country. You will find one of the best diving sites close by.
Remember that this is a local island and therefore alcohol is prohibited and we want to respect their cultures and religion.

Diving – If you are interested in diving please let me know, as wonderful diving spots are just around the island and you are also able to learn how to dive.

Watch the locals everyday life
Fishing is a key part of local island life on the Maldives, and many islanders rely on it for their livelihood. Fishing boats can be seen departing from the islands early in the morning, and the catch of the day is often sold at the local fish market. In addition to fishing, some locals also engage in agriculture, growing crops such as coconuts, bananas, and papayas.

Explore the Island´s beauty
A unique aspect of the island beauty of the Maldives is the bioluminescent plankton that can be found in the waters around the islands. At night, these tiny organisms emit a blue-green glow, creating a magical and otherworldly atmosphere. Visitors to the local islands can take nighttime boat tours or swim in the bioluminescent waters for an unforgettable experience

Villa

You will stay in the unique, suitably furnished, private and lovely decorated villa, located in the northeast of the island.

Walking into this unique garden villa, you will find an intimate, outside relaxing area. This is your safe haven, where you can dine barefoot, with sand between your toes and take a refreshing bath after practicing your sunrise yoga. 

With four bedrooms, villa is suitable for up to eight people. All bedrooms have their own small bathroom and air conditioning.

Every room has one single bed and one queen size bed with its own bathroom, ideal to share with another yogi. But we do offer one bedroom as a single bedroom, if you would like to have your privacy. 

We kindly inform you that, given the availability and group size, alterations may be made to the accommodation. However, rest assured that the substituted accommodation will be of a comparable standard.
