Constructed in 1912, this architectural gem is rich in history, carefully preserving its numerous original elements. Stepping into the villa, guests are enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and old-world charm.
This remarkable retreat provides awe-inspiring vistas of olive groves, charming local village, lush forests, and the majestic peaks of Serra de Estrela in the distance. The nearby beaches of River Alva offer idyllic spots for swimming and kayaking. At Quinta das Latas, immerse yourself in a blissful back-to-nature escape, where relaxation is paramount.

With a stretch tent in the olive garden that boasts stunning views of the olive fields and the nearby hilltop village, the garden space is adaptable for any workshop or practice session. The pool deck provides ample room for up to 15 yogis, and the spacious indoor yoga studio is fully equipped with mats, blocks, and belts, ensuring the perfect setting for your retreat.

Totally unique, thoughtfull restored Retreat villa with nine bedrooms, a large pool with outdoor BBQ dining area and tropical gardens. Set on a hill within a large country estate you will enjoy breath-taking views of olive groves, the local village, sunset sky and the majestic Serra de Estrela peaks beyond.
Each bedroom benefits from a powerful fan for cooling, mosquito netted windows and incredible views! No AC.

Our immediate favourites are: Praia Fluvial do Vimieiro (award winner), Praia fluvial do lapa (secret beach) and praia fluvial do Reconquilho below Penacova town itself. Restaurants - we can personally recommend many restaurants in Coimbra and closer to the house so please just ask, our list grows frequently.
You can also enjoy local horse riding, bikes dropped to the door, and there are many walking trails which you can take right from the house.
