About venue
The Retreat Oasis is a retreat center and vegan conscious guesthouse located in the Sierra Grazalema in Andalusia, Spain.
This magical hidden oasis with its charming, playful Andalusian country house and the lush green garden amidst the Andalusian dry vegetation is located on a fresh river and surrounded by babbling water canals.
With the Retreat Oasis we want to create a safe and mindful space where inner work can be done and transformation can take place. A place where people can come together to process and dance, to laugh and cry, to give space to their emotions and transform them with joy.
A place where wisdom keepers of ancient traditions come together and share their gifts for the world. A place of creativity where new visions see the light of day and want to be carried in all directions.

Shamanic/ Ayahuasca
We are a retreat place for shamanism and plant medicine retreats . For ceremonies we have a 9 diameter ceremony dome with a fireplace in the middle. In the dome we have space for 15 people lying in a circle. Or sitting even more. We have 15 ceremony mats, 14 yoga mats, yoga blocks, meditation cushion and blankets.
We only accept ceremony leaders who are working in a responsible and safe way.
Yoga
We have a Yoga terrace with wooden floor and a shade sail roof, 14 yoga mats, yoga blocks, meditation cushion and blankets.
For seminars and ceremonies we also have a ceremonial dome with wooden floor and a fireplace in the middle. In the dome we have space for 15 people lying in a circle. We also have 15 ceremony mats.
Meditation
Our Retreat Oasis is the perfect place for mindful experiences. In the middle of lush green nature you are surrounded by a fresh river and babbling canals. In seclusion from stressful city live you can connect deeply with nature and yourself.
For your Meditation Retreat we have a 9 diameter ceremony dome with wooden floor and fire place in the middle. The dome is equipped with 15 ceremony mats, 15 meditation cushions and 15 blankets. Also 14 Yoga mats and Yoga blocks are available.
Spiritual
Any kind of holistic, truthful and deep spiritual practices with the honest aim of growth, healing and transformation are welcome at our retreat venue. For this we have a 9 diameter ceremony dome, a Yoga terrace and equipment such as Yoga mats, ceremony mats, meditation cushions, blankets.

For this we have a ceremony dome, a Yoga terrace or a lush green meadow. As sound equipment we have KRK monitor speakers and a Pioneer DJ Controller available.
Hiking & Trekking
We are in the midst of a hiking and trekking areal. From our venue you can start your trek through the Sierra de Grazalema.

Come with your group to have canyoning adventures in our area. Very close we have a beautiful canyoning route through the Garganta Verde canyon, as well as other canyoning routes in the area and lots of other adventures activities like hiking and paragliding.

The Sierra de Grazalema and the area around Alogdonales is a paragliding paradise and it's said it's one of the best spots in Europe to paraglide. Or where else do you have the possibility to fly together with vultures?
We welcome you in a conscious environment as a stay for your paragliding adventures.
You and your participants will be acomodated in a playful Andalusian country house.
We have different room options:
- 1 apartment for seminar leaders with a 1,40 m double bed & 1 single bed, with own bathroom and little kitchen
- 1 room with a 1,40 m double bed and own bathroom, available as single room or double room
- 2 shared two bed rooms,, each with two separate beds and shared bathroom
- 1 dormitory as a shared group room with 4 mattresses (on pallet beds) and shared bathroom
- 2 glamping bell tents either for single occupancy or double occupancy with outside bathroom (the bell tents are only available in high season from May till October)
This means we have space for up to 6 participants in two bed rooms (only 5 participants if one is used as single room), 4 participants in the group bedroom and 2 participants in 2 bell tents with single occupancy or 4 participants in 2 bell tents with double occupancy.
Plus we have a seminar leader apartment with a 1,40 m double bed and a single bed.

The Sierra de Grazalema natural reserve is a popular holiday area for Spaniards and foreign visitors. It is a popular area for hikers and nature enthusiasts from all over the world.
The area around Algodonales and the Sierra de Grazalema mountain range is also one of the most popular paragliding areas in the world. Tandem flights can be booked, paragliding courses can be taken or experienced paragliders can independently explore the Sierra de Grazalema from above and you can even fly together with the vultures.
If you prefer to stay on the ground, you can go on river hikes that take you from Cinco Lunas along or even through the Rio Bocaleones to the Bocaleones Canyon. You can also take guided canyoning tours through the Garganta Verde Canyon, at whose heights Europe’s largest vulture colony is located. Vultures represent transformation.
You can take a trip to the enchanting village of Zahara de la Sierra, which is one of the “Pueblos blancos” – the 30 white villages of Andalusia and also one of the “Los pueblos más Bonitos de España” – the most beautiful Spanish villages.
In summer time, you can cross the Zahara de la Sierra lake by canoe or standup paddleboard. During the day or during full moon rides.
Not far away is the city of Ronda, which is a UNESCO world heritage site thanks to its impressive historic bridge and romantic old town, where Hemmingway once spent several summers as a part-time resident.
The city of Seville is about 1 hour and 30 minutes away and is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with its beautiful historical buildings.
It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean in the west or the Mediterranean in the east.
The impressive Caminito del Rey mountain trail, which has also been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, can be reached in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. And for some it’s probably a dizzying tour due to its height.
So there is a lot to discover and to experience in our region….
