Balance Point Wellness is a private jungle sanctuary in the village of Bullet Tree Falls, Cayo District, Belize, offering an intimate and inspiring setting for wellness retreats, group getaways, family gatherings, and private celebrations.
Set on 15 acres of tropical forest just minutes from San Ignacio, the property combines comfortable accommodations with beautiful shared spaces and a genuine connection to nature. Groups can enjoy exclusive use of the property, with an open-air yoga pavilion, jungle spa, massage and wellness services, nature trails, gardens, hammocks, and peaceful spaces for gathering, reflection, or simply enjoying time together.
Balance Point is especially suited to yoga and wellness retreats, but we also welcome families and groups of friends looking for a private Belize experience where everyone can stay together. We can help create a customized experience with yoga, massage, spa treatments, traditional Maya wellness experiences, jungle activities, healthy meals, and local excursions.

About Katherine Devine
Katherine Devine is the founder and owner of Balance Point Wellness Belize, a jungle wellness retreat and guesthouse in the Cayo District of Belize. A longtime practitioner and teacher of yoga and holistic wellness, Katherine created Balance Point as a place where people can slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience a different pace of life.
With a passion for bringing people together through wellness, nature, movement, and authentic Belizean experiences, Katherine enjoys helping retreat leaders, families, and groups create meaningful stays that feel both relaxed and well cared for.
She is especially passionate about sharing the beauty, culture, and natural richness of western Belize while creating a welcoming space where guests can feel at home in the jungle.
Location
Balance Point Wellness is located in Bullet Tree Falls, a small village nestled in the lush Cayo District of western Belize. Set among tropical forest and surrounded by the sounds of birds and jungle wildlife, the property offers a peaceful escape while remaining only about 10 minutes from San Ignacio, the cultural and adventure hub of western Belize.
The Cayo District is one of Belize's richest regions for nature, adventure, and Maya history. Nearby San Ignacio offers local markets, restaurants, galleries, and a lively small-town atmosphere, while the surrounding countryside is home to rivers, caves, waterfalls, forests, and ancient Maya sites.
Guests can explore the famous Xunantunich Maya ruins, venture into the spectacular ATM Cave, canoe or tube along jungle rivers, hike through protected rainforest, visit waterfalls, or discover the region's remarkable wildlife and birdlife. The Mountain Pine Ridge area and Rio On Pools are also within reach for day adventures.
For those interested in Belizean culture, Cayo provides opportunities to experience traditional Maya food, plants, healing practices, crafts, and history. About accommodation
Balance Point Wellness is available as an exclusive-use accommodation for private groups and retreat gatherings, comfortably hosting 8–10 guests and accommodating up to 12 across a collection of private cabins, villas, and suites.
The accommodations offer a mix of queen and twin/single beds, with flexible arrangements for couples, friends sharing, or individual retreat participants. Private cabins provide a peaceful garden setting and added privacy, while the suites and villas offer comfortable indoor accommodations within the guesthouse. Bathrooms are a combination of private and shared facilities, depending on the accommodation.
Groups have exclusive use of the accommodations and access to comfortable common areas and covered outdoor spaces for relaxing and gathering between activities and meals.
Balance Point is designed to support the complete retreat experience. An onsite jungle spa offers massage and spa treatments, with Traditional Maya Healing, ritual and ceremony available for interested groups. Yoga instruction and sound bath experiences can also be arranged, while Wild Roots Healthy Kitchen provides onsite catering featuring fresh, wholesome meals.
The open-air Ananda Pavilion provides a beautiful space for yoga, workshops, classes, meetings, and group gatherings. Set within 15 acres of tropical jungle, the property offers walking trails, abundant birdlife, and a medicinal plant trail for guests to explore.
With private accommodations, wellness services, gathering spaces, and jungle surroundings all in one location, Balance Point Wellness is particularly well suited to retreat leaders, wellness groups, family gatherings, and private group stays.
Advance Booking: Because Balance Point Wellness is offered exclusively to private groups and retreat organizers, we require a minimum of 4 months' advance notice for group bookings. This allows us to properly prepare the accommodations, coordinate onsite services, and ensure the property is available exclusively for your group.
