Located 35km from the city of Volos, at a 450-meter altitude, you will find one of the most beautiful traditional villages of Pelion, Neochori. It is one of the few villages in the area looking at all directions of the horizon as it was built in the center-eastern part of the mountain. The view is spectacular as the visitor can observe the Aegean Sea, the Pagasitikos Gulf, and the green scenery of the mountain from different parts of the region.

In addition to the abundance of natural wealth and unique views, walking in the area will reveal the incredible architecture of Pelion, with the stone mansions, arched bridges, chapels, and monasteries. Some of them are Panagia Kalogianni or Tourkogianni, Panagia Plakiotissa, St.George church, St.Anargyroi, The Nativity of the Virgin church, and more.

Pelion is a combination of mountain and sea so the unique location allows the visitor to enjoy the beaches of the Aegean Sea and Pagasitikos Gulf in the summer months. There is a wide variety of beaches, organized and free, crowded and very remote ones, easily accessible, or others that are only accessible by adventure seekers. Something for everyone! The famous crystal clear waters of Pelion are combined with different kinds of sand, shingle, and stone, while the trees bend over the water as if to cool it off, during the hot summer months! Many of the beaches are connected to gullies, reminding fairies and mythology legends.

The Neochori village is an all-season destination, an exceptional combination of mountain and sea, offering the visitors moments of relaxation, fun and beautiful views. It is no coincidence that in mythology Pelion was the resort of the Olympian Gods and various other historical figures. A destination for the elite, in all its simplicity!

The city of Volos, is 35km (21.7mi) away, there is a port, a bus station and a train station. From Volos to Neochori, there are buses and taxis. Depending on the season, bus routes are less or more frequent. We recommend that our guests arrive with their own transportation. In that way, they will be more flexible while travelling around the area, visiting spots of interest or participating in other activities. Outside the mansion there is an outdoor parking area. Rental cars and other vehicles can be arranged at the city of Volos. We suggest that our guests arrive with transportation that will allow them have access to the most possible destinations. A low sports car is not recommended. For more adventurers there are dirt roads leading to beaches with wonderful natural sceneries and clear blue waters. In this case, we recommend a 4x4-wheel transportation. Access is not easy (medium difficulty) and there is a big possibility to be completely alone while enjoying nature at their “few hours” private beach. N. Anchialos National Airport is 79.9km (49.6mi), around 1 hour and 18 mins drive. Serves for domestic or charter flights. During busy seasons flights are more frequent. Athens International Airport “El. Venizelos” is 383km (237.9mi), around 4 hours drive. Serves international and domestic flights all year long. Thessaloniki Airport “Makedonia” is 275km (170.8mi), around 3 hours and 20 minutes drive. Serves international and domestic flights all year long. Skiathos Island National Airport. Serves national flights all year long. We recommend this airport in case our guests want to visit us through the sea. There is port with connection to Volos.
